Craig runs Spider Video, a boutique video production company in Halifax. With over 20 years of corporate storytelling as producer, Director, Cinematographer and editor, he has a knack for finding compelling narrative threads in any story. Craig also is a graduate from Saint Mary’s University and NSCAD university, has never stopped learning and loves to hear stories. He is also the founder of Halifax Storyslam.

Michael Amo

Story Guide

Michael is a screenwriter, producer and showrunner with over 30 years experience in the film and television industry. A Ryerson University graduate, Michael created The Listener which ran for five seasons on CTV and Fox International. He’s been Gemini- nominated for the TV movies Tagged and Blessed Stranger. More recently, he created and executive produced Pure for the CBC. The second season ran on Super Channel in Canada and Hulu and WGNa in the US. Pure has been nominated for a multitude of awards including Best Drama Series & Best Direction at the Canadian Screen Awards, Best Drama Series by the Writers Guild of Canada, and Best Lead Performance at the Leo Awards. It won Best Television Series at the Screen Nova Scotia Awards and several best performance awards.

Michael lives in Nova Scotia with his wife and is serving his fifth term as the WGC’s Councillor for Atlantic Canada.
